Google Classroom

This post is about the tool Google Classroom, listed in Doctor Wang's PPT about the previous T3PP results. Furthermore, Google Classroom is found in the RQ2 Technologies table.

Google Classroom is a tool that creates a virtual classroom for students and educators to access anywhere and anytime. It is similar to Canvas, where students can view and submit assignments, receive feedback, work on classwork online, communicate/contact teachers and/or other students, access course resources/files, and much more!

The ease of use of Google Classroom is a benefit for Google Classroom. This tool is simple and relatively self-explanatory. However, there are many resources to help both educators and students to get the most out of this tool (see the link at the bottom of this post to view a introductory video to Google Classroom). Google classroom is easy to navigate and consistent with other tools from Google, such as Docs, Gmail, Google Meet, Google Drive, and much more. Google Classroom is easy and beneficial because students and teachers have access to many resources all within one tool.

Google Classroom can be used for a versatile set of purposes. All kinds of courses and subject matters can use Google Classroom to create a virtual classroom for their class(es). Because Google Classroom has so many resources, it is a versatile tool for educators to incorporate in their classes. In addition, because so many educators use Google Classroom, there are many tips and resources created by educators that can be accessed and reviewed to optimize user experience.

I have used Google Classroom as a student, and given my personal experience and the research I have done about this tool for educators, I would definitely use this tool in my future classes. Therefore, I would say the likelihood of this tool being used in my classroom is high.
